After being crowned one of the best teams in Missouri, Rockhurst will have a chance to go up against the nation’s best.

The Carmel (IN) girls reflect on their season and are hopeful for an at-large big after an incrediably close team race that saw three girls teams finish within four points of each other. After a near-perfect season it will be hard to exclude the Greyhounds from the national championship after their performance today and this season.
Henry Acorn, a senior from Rockhurst (MO), would finish 6th this weekend and mean that he would be the first person out at an automatic bid to nationals. However, with his team finishing 2nd he will make the trip as Rockhurst's frontrunner after running to a 15:03.44.
Brooke Chapman, a junior from Olentangy Orange (OH), is hopeful for an At-Large Bid for Nationals after finishing 6th with a 17:18.85.
Mia Sirois, a sophomore from Barrington (IL), would be one of two girls to break the 17 minute barrier this weekend with her performance of 16:57.32. She is coming off a historic Illinois state championship where she would break the IHSA record with a 15:53.40 3 mile race.
Mallory Weller, a junior from Fort Wayne Concordia (IN), talks about what it took to make her first national meet after winning the Indiana state title 15 days ago.
Noah Bontrager, a junior from Westview (IN), would run to a top three finish in the final stretch to run to a 14:52.42 and earn a trip to NXN. This would be the second straight year that Indiana would send multiple boys to the National Championship.

Donevan Noah, a freshman from Tallmadge (OH), wins the second boys rising stars race with a 16:20.03
Conrad Saner, a sophomore from Downers Grove South (IL), would take the first boys rising stars race with a 16:41.00.
